Finding your way around the RUT (MIIT) campus

How to find the right room, building and entrance on campus RUT (MIIT): how to read the room number, where is the institute, how to get between buildings and from the subway. The audience list in Appendix VISH will tell you where a specific room is located, and the campus map will tell you where the building is located. Here you can find out how to figure it out.

Campus map

Where the map is turned on, there is a “Map” item in the menu immediately after “Loading” (on the phone — in menu “☰”). The map is one map for everything: the district, the campus and the building. This is our scheme based on OpenStreetMap open data: the main campus at ул. Образцова, 9 has its buildings, КПП 1 and КПП 2, entrances, the nearest stations with walking time and places nearby. Each building has an icon of what is in it (studies, administration, student life and sports, medicine, dormitory), and a name; the color of the building also says what is in it, and the closed or reconstructed building is shaded. There are a number of colored circles under the building: what's inside, for example, a canteen, a library, or МФЦ. Click on the circle to open a building card on the desired floor.

• Scale: from area to floor. Delete the map and you will see stations with minutes on foot and places nearby. Zoom in and all buildings with names, КПП and entrances will appear. Bring the selected building closer or open the link to the floor or room. A row of floors will appear above the map, for example, “C 1 2 3 4 5” (“C” — basement). Click on a floor to see what's on it in the building's card. There are no floor plans yet, as the line under the floors reminds us: the floor audiences are on the card.
• Designations. The “Designation” button in the lower-left corner of the map opens six switches — “Study”, “Food and Shops”, “Services and Support”, “Sports and Leisure”, “Metro and Transport”, “Entrances and КПП” — and explains the icons. Turn off a layer, and its icons disappear from the map; the button will show how many layers are hidden, for example, “Notation · 2”, and “Show all” turns them on again. The buildings and their names are always visible. The filled circle is the place of the university, the ring circle is a place nearby that does not belong to the university; the line is a path on foot, the circle with a number is several places next to each other: click on it and the map will zoom in. The selected layers are saved in the page address, so that the link opens the map with them.
• The panel on the computer. To the left of the map is a panel with a search and three sections. “Campus” — list: “Academic buildings”, “Other buildings”, “КПП and metro”. “How to get” there and “Nearby” — about them below. At the bottom of the panel is where the data comes from and when it is updated.
• The panel on the phone. The map opens to the full screen, without the upper panel and the lower menu: from the top to the “Back” and the “Show the entire campus” button, on the right are the zoom buttons, and from the bottom there is a panel that does not close. In its collapsed form, there is a search and quick buttons. "КПП 1", "КПП 2", "МФЦ", The “library” and the “Admissions” Office; pull it up by the strip or by the contents — it opens half and completely, with the same three sections. Clicking on the search expands the panel, “Canceling” brings it back.
• Where can I get to? This is the name of the search (hint in the field — “Room, building, department, dean”'s office). You can enter the number of the room (2212 or Н506 — Latin H is also suitable), the number or name of the building, institute, КПП, metro station, place or department — and by the usual name: "МФЦ" and “one window” lead to one place. The dean's office is searched for by institute: “dean's office ИЖТ”; if the office number is not published, it says so — the “number is not published”. You can write as you ask: “where МФЦ” will find МФЦ, the search discards unnecessary words; a few words clarify each other — a place where everything is suitable. A small typo doesn't hurt. If the word is typed in the wrong layout (“VAC” instead of "МФЦ"), the search will find the right one and ask Did “you type in a different layout?”. The department and the dean's office have a building, a floor and an room in the row, and a clock mark next to it.: “Open until ...”, “Closed · opens ...” or the “clock is not published” if it is not in the data. The last line of the list is To “ask the assistant”: clicking sends your question to the chat with the assistant (where there is a "AI assistant" in the menu); without a network, instead it says the “Assistant needs a network”. There is no search for the teacher's last name on the map yet. Look for the teacher's audience on the Teachers and Classrooms page.
• Card. Click on the building, КПП, station, or place nearby — on the map or in the list — and its card will open (about the building card below). The page address changes, and the link can be shared. The card is closed by clicking on an empty place on the card, Escape, or the “Back” button in the browser. If there is a building in the link that is not on the map, the application will say so and prompt you to select a building from the list.
• Platform. At the top (there is a “Playground” line in the panel on the phone), a playground is selected: main campus, РОАТ, Lublin, colleges, dormitories, and others. Where there is already a map of the area for the site, it opens on the same map, and the building of such a site is highlighted on it. If the site does not have a diagram, the address and the link to Yandex Maps are shown.
• To share. On the computer, the “Share” button at the top sends or copies a link to what is currently open on the map.
• Gestures. Spread or bring together two fingers, on the computer — the mouse wheel or a gesture on the touchpad: the map moves closer to the place where the cursor is. A double touch brings you twice as close, a two—finger touch takes you further away. Buttons “+” and “−” have the same actions, and “Show the entire campus” returns the entire campus. Swipe the map with your finger or mouse to move it. The page itself does not scale, and the gesture from the very left edge of the screen on the phone is a system call, the map does not intercept it.
• From the keyboard. Tab moves through the buildings and icons, Enter opens the card, “+” and “−” change the scale, “0” shows the entire campus, Shift with arrows moves the map, Escape closes the card.
• Показать на Яндекс Карте. Где под кнопками масштаба есть кнопка со значком глобуса, она открывает прямо в приложении живую Яндекс Карту вокруг того места, на которое вы смотрите: улицы, метро и наши корпуса поверх неё — с подписями корпусов, КПП и станций метро. Нажмите на корпус, КПП или станцию — или приблизьте карту вплотную к корпусу, — и откроется наша карта с его карточкой. «Схема кампуса» возвращает к нашей карте, а глобус потом снова открывает ту же Яндекс Карту без новой загрузки. До нажатия Яндекс Карта не загружается, а бесплатных открытий в день немного — и на всё приложение, и на одно устройство. Если она сейчас не откроется — исчерпан дневной лимит, её слишком часто открывали за последний час, её ещё не подключили или не удалось загрузить, — приложение скажет почему и предложит «Открыть в Яндекс Картах» и вернуться к нашей карте, а при ошибке загрузки — «Повторить». Без сети кнопки нет.

If “Animations” are disabled in the settings or motion reduction is enabled in the system, the map switches to a new view immediately, without smooth flight. Opened once upon connection, the map of the main campus then works without a network: there will be “no network on it · the map is saved” with the date, and links to Yandex Maps will be subscribed “to the network”. If the card has not been saved yet, the app will tell you so and prompt you to repeat it.

How to get

The “How to get” there section in the panel shows metro stations, MCC, MCD and commuter trains next to the platform, the nearest ones from above: how far to go and to which КПП or entrance, for example “... min · ... m to КПП 1”, and through which exit. Click on the station to see the route on foot from the exit with the time on it, for example, “13 minutes”, and in the station card — the “route in Yandex Maps”, the walking route from this station there. The time on the map is calculated on foot based on open data, and Yandex Maps takes into account today. Below in the section — “Diagram (PNG)”: a picture of the district's layout in a light or dark theme, as it is now in the application, can be saved or forwarded.

Nearby

“Nearby” section — what's around the site, by category: “Food” (all places where you can eat or buy groceries), “Groceries”, “Fast” Food, “Cafes and coffee” shops, “Restaurants and canteens”, “Pharmacies”, “Printing” and “ATMs”; each button shows how many places there are. The selected category stands out on the map, while the rest of the places become paler. The location indicates whether it is open now and for how long, and if the hours are not specified in the open data, “specify the hours”. Below is how far to go from the nearest КПП or entrance, for example “... min from КПП 2”, and the kitchen, if it is known. Click on a place — the map will show it and open a card: clock, path from КПП, “Open in Yandex Maps” (there is a phone number, reviews and the exact clock) and the data source. At the bottom of the section is the source and date of the data.

The opening hours and places themselves are taken from open data and may be outdated: check them in Yandex Maps before hiking. Where the card data comes from and under what conditions it can be used is on the Card Sources page.

Each place on the map has its own short description: the building has what kind of building it is, its address and condition, the cafe, library or service has where it is located (building, floor, room) and opening hours, the room has which building it is in and on which floor. The descriptions are in Russian, English and Chinese, each one has the source and date of verification (in the card there is “information on ...”). Employees with access to the service status can see “Places without a description” on the building's card: it shows by type (buildings, cafes and services, КПП, entrances, stations, landmarks, rooms) which places do not have descriptions, English or Chinese text, source or date of verification to add them.

How to set a route

Where there is a Route button next to the search on the map (on the phone there is a square button with a “route” icon, on the computer there is a Route with the word “Route”), the application builds a path on foot along the main campus: along buildings, passageways, stairs and the street, as well as from the metro station or to a cafe nearby. What the button does is indicated by the label when hovering over, and on the phone by a long press.

• With two taps. Tap “Route”, then on the map — the place where you are coming from and the place where you are going: the route will be set immediately, you don't need to click anything else. The line above the fields tells you what the next click will do.: “Tap on the map where you are coming” from, then “now tap where you are going”. You can click on buildings, КПП, metro stations, and places nearby, such as cafes. If you can't select an audience on the map, enter its number in the “From” or “To” field. To change a point, tap on its field and then on a place on the map, and when the route is already set, just to another place: the app will ask From “Here” or “Here”. For the first time, a hint will appear above the map. “Click on two points on the map to set the route itself”. The cross closes it, and it will no longer appear.
• Любая точка на карте. Пока маршрут открыт, нажатие на карту заполняет поле, которое ждёт точку: то, на котором вы стоите, а иначе первое пустое. Пока поле выбрано, строка над полями подсказывает «Нажмите на карту или выберите из списка» (на телефоне — «Коснитесь карты или выберите из списка»). От такой точки внутри кампуса путь идёт напрямую до ближайшего корпуса или КПП и дальше по кампусу, а снаружи — до ближайшего КПП. Карточка места при этом не открывается, а двойное нажатие по-прежнему только приближает карту. У каждого поля есть кнопка с булавкой «Выбрать на карте»: список закроется, и следующее нажатие на карту заполнит именно это поле. На телефоне панель на это время опускается вниз и поднимается, когда маршрут построен; на компьютере над картой курсор-прицел, а подпись рядом с ним говорит, чем станет место, например «Нажмите — станет «Откуда»». Если нажатие заменило уже выбранную точку, внизу появится сообщение, что «Куда» (или «Откуда») заменено, с кнопкой «Отменить». Точка с карты сохраняется в ссылке на маршрут и в «Недавних»; ваше местоположение в ссылку не попадает.
• «Сюда» и «Отсюда». В карточке корпуса, аудитории, КПП, станции или места рядом есть кнопки «Сюда» и «Отсюда». «Сюда» сразу строит путь до этого места, а начало выбирает само: сначала «Я здесь» — место, которое вы отметили или которое карта определила («Где я», ниже) не больше 10 минут назад; если его нет — аудитория вашей предыдущей пары сегодня, потом аудитория, где сейчас идёт пара, а иначе КПП 1. Строка под полями говорит, откуда начат путь, например «Откуда — вы здесь. Нажмите на поле, чтобы поменять» или «Откуда — аудитория предыдущей пары. Нажмите на поле, чтобы поменять». «Отсюда» делает это место началом — останется нажать на карте, куда идёте.
• Long press. Click on a place on the map and hold it (right mouse button on the computer) — a menu From “Here” and “Here” will appear.
• From the schedule. On the phone, in the details of the lesson, there is “How to get” there: the route to the audience of this couple from the audience of the previous one. The same line “As before” is in the audience list.
• From where and to where manually. The panel (the bottom one on the phone) shows the “From” and “To” fields and the “Swap” button; the cross closes the route, and the “Reset” clears both points to select them again. Start typing — the tips are divided into groups: “Classrooms” (a number like 1224 is always given by “Room 1224”), “Buildings”, “Entrances and КПП”, “Food” (including the “nearest canteen”), “Services”, “Metro” and “Nearby”. In an empty field, there is the “next pair” according to the schedule with the audience and start time, “Recent” locations and “Popular”: the nearest canteen, МФЦ, КПП 1 and the nearest metro. While both fields are empty, “Recent routes” are visible (“Clearing” them erases them) and examples “can be like” this. Recent ones are only stored on this device. If the location is not marked, select it in the “From” field.
• Stops. “Add a stop” and tap on the map a place where you need to go on the way, for example, a canteen. There can be up to three stops; the cross next to the stop removes it.
• How to go. Three buttons with icons: “Faster”, “Along the street” — even if there is a crosswalk — and “Through the crosswalks” — inside buildings, along the crosswalks between buildings, where they are. A switch “Without stairs” only looks for a path through elevators and ramps.
• Result. Large — how many minutes to walk, nearby — how many meters; if the path is calculated approximately, the range and explanation are “approximately: .”... The number of stairs icon shows how many floors you will have to climb and descend, and a small stripe next to it shows which floors the path goes through. Below is the number of crosswalks and the number of meters along the street. If the path goes without stairs, it also says “without stairs”, and if the data is not checked in some steps, it is “not checked: 2 steps”; click on this line, and the first such step opens. “Details” the path step by step. “Open in Yandex Maps” opens a walking route there — there is a button when part of the way goes along the street. “Share” sends or copies a link to a route with a caption like “Route 2212 → 1235” and “7 steps, ≈ 6 min — VISH”. The screen reader will inform you once that the route has been set, how many steps it contains, and how far to go.
• Where are you going. Above the steps is the heading of the destination: the name (department, dean's office, room or building), the building with the floor and room, for the number — its decryption, the address with the “Copy address” button (“Address copied”), the entrance, the clock (“Open until ...”, “Now closed — the route can still be set” or the “Clock is not published”), the official contacts of the department (phone, mail, website) and the source: “According to the source on ...” with date and link. The “entrance is the main entrance of the building”, but until its location is confirmed, the “exact location of the entrance has not been verified”. The header is collected from data stored on the device, so it is available without a network.
• Footsteps. The steps are numbered and grouped according to where you are walking: building and floor, “Street”, “Subway”. The step has what to do, pointers from the campus data, meters and minutes, and a reservation, if any. If the sources about the step differ or there is only one source, the step says it is “Not verified”, but “Why?” explains the doubt. Click on a step — the map will show this section, and it will become thicker on the route line, and strokes will run along it in the direction of movement (if animations are turned off, there are arrows). On the computer, a section is highlighted already when you hover over a step, and in the list of steps you can follow them with the arrows ↑ and ↓ and select a step with the Enter key. It also works the other way around: click on a route line on the map to select its step. Under the steps are tips, and if the path goes along the street, the signature is the “Path along the street: OpenStreetMap”.
• On the map. The route is one bright line, the parts inside the buildings are lighter; the point is the beginning, the ring is the end, the bar is the travel time, icons like “2→1” are where to change the floor, the bars are like “et. ... → ...” — transitions between buildings, with a “?” sign if the transition is not checked. The map shows the entire route, the rest of the places and buildings not on the route fade, and the way from the station to “How to get” there is hidden at this time.
• If the route has not been set. The app will tell you why — the places are on different sites, the path is closed, the path is unknown without stairs, the place has not been found or needs to be clarified, the building does not have a diagram — and will suggest what to do: “Build along the street”, “Show with stairs”, “Choose another”, one of the similar places or Yandex Maps. If the route couldn't be loaded, click “Repeat”; you can't set a new route without a network: the app will write “a network For the new route” and build it itself when the network returns.
• On the phone. At the bottom of the panel is the “Route”: how many steps and how far to go, and the “Start” button. Then the panel leads one step at a time: “Step 1 of 7” and the large buttons “Back” and “Next”; you can scroll through the steps by swiping left or right on the step card. At the last step, instead of “Next”, it is “Ready”, it closes the route. If you slide the card with your hand, the “To Step” button will appear. It will return the current step to the map.
• Without a network. The last five routes along with the steps are stored on this device. Without a network, such a route will open with the message “No network — the route saved on this device” is shown, and when the network returns, the application will build it again. If the campus data has changed during this time and the route has become different, the “Route will be updated based on the new data”.
• Link. The route, the selected settings, and the selected step are saved in the page address, so that the link opens the same route; the step does not enter the “Share” link, it opens the route from the beginning. The audience number in the address can be written as it is: /map?from=2212&to=1235 — the path from room 2212 to 1235. “Back” in the browser closes the route.
• Chat with the assistant. Where there is a "AI assistant" in the menu, there is a “Send to chat” button under the result. She opens a chat with an assistant: above the input field is a route, for example “Route ГУК-1 → ГУК-8” (the cross removes it), and in the field is a highlighted draft. “Tell us more about this route”, which can be immediately replaced with your question. Nothing is sent until you send the message yourself; then, along with the question, the assistant will receive the route name and a link to it. The chat is unavailable without a network: the application will write There is “no network — the chat is unavailable” and will offer to “Copy the link”.
• The route from the assistant's response. The “assistant” answers the question of how to get through with a route card, and about the building with a building card. “Open the route” in the card opens this route here on the map, “Open the building card” on the map, and the route button in the building card shows the way to it; It “returns” you to the same place of correspondence.

Where am I

Where there is a “Where Am I” button (an icon with a scope) in the map buttons, the map shows where you are standing. The button is only on the phone — on the computer and on screen ТВ it is not present — and only in applications where the function is enabled.

• The first click. First, the app explains what will happen next: “Your phone determines the location. VISH does not send it to us, to the analyst, or to the assistant, and does not save it; when you leave the card, the detection is turned off.” The phone will ask for permission only after the “Allow Location” button; it does not ask for permission to “specify a location manually”. The explanation is shown once on the device.
• What you will see. A placemark on the map with a circle of accuracy; the caption indicates how accurate the placemark is (“Approximately here · ±... m”). If the signal has not been updated for a long time, the caption will tell you how many seconds ago it was, and then "Weak GPS signal — check in “here”." The app itself tries to determine the location again every 15 seconds. If you are off campus, the map will say so and suggest a “Route in Yandex Maps” to КПП, but your coordinates will not be transmitted anywhere.
• Inside the building. GPS inside buildings is inaccurate. If it looks like you're in a building, the app will prompt you to “select a floor”. You can do it yourself: “Specify the location manually” by selecting the “Building”, then the “Floor”. The marked place is shown as “you are here: ...”, after 3 minutes the mark becomes hollow (You “were here ... minutes ago”), and after 15 minutes it disappears. “Reset the location” removes it immediately.
• If it doesn't work out. “Geo location access is disabled”. The app will show the steps for your phone (iPhone, Android in Chrome, Telegram, or MAX). After enabling it, return to the map. The “location is inaccurate” — approximate location is enabled on the phone: enable the “Exact location” for the site or mark the location manually. If there is no geo location in this application at all, a manual location selection will open.
• Battery. After 10 minutes of no action, the detection turns off (the “location is turned off to conserve battery”) — “Turning” it on starts it again. It also turns off when you leave the map or minimize the app.
• What doesn't go away from the phone. The coordinates, the selected location, and the floor are not sent to the server, to analytics, to error reports, and to the assistant, and are not saved; all that remains in the device's memory is a note that the explanation has already been shown. Analytics will only find out that you clicked “Where I” am and how it ended (allowed, refused, location unavailable, inaccurate), without a place. The map screen with geo-location enabled is hidden from recording sessions. If VISH is open inside Telegram or MAX, the messenger application sees what is shown on the screen by itself. To do this, open VISH in the browser.

The marked place is also the beginning of the route: “It” takes him here as from “Where”, until the mark is no more than 10 minutes; then the start will select the schedule or КПП 1. Hints on the way are not working yet.

Reviews of places

Where reviews are included, canteens, cafes, copy centers, and other services have a row with stars on the card and in the search results: the average rating out of five, how many reviews, and the most frequent marks, such as “Delicious” or “Inexpensive”. Buildings, institutions, and people are not evaluated. Click “Reviews” to open a list of student reviews, new ones at the top, with a star rating distribution.

• Who's writing. Anyone can read reviews. A student who is logged into the app can write a review; there is no “Write review” button for staff and teachers, so that reviews are left by those who study here.
• What to write. A rating from one to five stars is the only required field. You can note what you remember (“Delicious”, “Fast service”, “Inexpensive”, “Quiet”, There “are outlets”, It's “cold”, the “board is hard to see”), and add a couple of lines of text, up to 500 characters. For one place — one of your reviews: “Edit” changes it, “Delete” removes it.
• The reviews are anonymous. The author's name is not visible to either readers or moderators. Your review in the list is signed by “yours”.
• Text verification. The app does not accept rude words: remove them and send them again. It removes links and contacts from the text itself. If the text looks like a person's name or too many people write about the place at once, the review is waiting for the moderator first, and so far only you can see it. If you send too many reviews in a row, the app will ask you to wait.
• Complain. Someone else's review has a “Complain” button: choose the reason — insults, personal information, spam, or other. If several different people complain about the review, it will disappear until the moderator decides what to do with it. The moderator can post a review or hide it; you will see the hidden review marked and you can change it — it will be checked again.
• The official response. The university can respond under the review: the response is signed by the “Official Response”. Employees with the right to moderate reviews are responsible and decide the fate of reviews. For them, there is a “Review Moderation” point on the map with a queue “Waiting for decisions” and “complaints”.
• Deleting an account. Your reviews are deleted along with your account.

Photos of places

У корпусов, КПП и входов на карточке места над текстом — полоса с фотографиями (если фото есть). Нажмите на фото: оно откроется на весь экран, листать — свайпом или стрелками. Увеличить снимок пальцем или двойным касанием нельзя, так в приложении устроен весь экран. Под фото — подпись «Фото: …» с источником. На метке на карте у места с фото — маленький снимок вместо значка. Фото хранятся у нас, а не берутся с чужих сайтов, а метаданные снимка (место и время съёмки, устройство) при загрузке удаляются.

• Without a network. Already opened photos remain in the phone's memory and are displayed without the Internet; while the photo is loading, a blurred blank is in its place.
• Faces and numbers. People's faces and car license plates are blurred out before copies of the image are made. The photo will not be published without it.
• For employees: add a photo. With the right to “Upload, replace, and take photos of buildings and entrances” (campus:photos:manage), there is an “Add photo” on the place card. Select a file (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 МБ), swipe over the photo to cover the faces and numbers (the last area can be canceled), specify the source (link optional) and a description for those who do not see the photo: you need in all three languages — Russian, English and in Chinese, a copy of Russian is not suitable. Click “Send for verification”: the photo is closed to everyone except the verifiers.
• For employees: verification. With the right to “Check and publish photos” (campus:photos:review) on the map, there is an item to “Check photos” with the number of people waiting. Open the photo in the preview, make sure that the faces and numbers are covered, mark the “Faces of the people and the numbers of the cars are hidden” and click “Publish” or “Reject”. Uploading and publishing the same photo have different rights, and you can't publish your uploaded photo, even if you have both rights: a second person must look at the blur. While the photo is waiting for verification, its files are in a closed folder; they become public only after publication.
• Replace and remove. An employee with the right to upload sees “Replace” and “Remove” the posted photo. The new image is also waiting for verification first, and the old one remains in place until the new one is published; after that, the old one is removed by itself. “Remove” removes the photo from the card immediately.
• The first photos. The first six photos — ГУК-1, ГУК-2, ГУК-3, ГУК-7, ГУК-12 and КПП Passageway “1 — transmitted” by VISH university and blurred manually; they appear on their own.

Case card

On the computer, the card opens in the panel on the left, on the phone — in the bottom panel, half-expanded: pull it up to see everything. Above is the case number on a colored plate, the “case” with the number, the short and full name of what's in the case, and if the case is closed or being rebuilt, its condition: “Reconstruction” is “probably closed” or “Planned to be closed”. Next, in order:

• Buttons. One notable “Here” button sets the path to the building directly in the app, and next to “it” is the path from it (the buildings of the main campus, where there is a “Route” button on the map; see the “How to set a route” section above). Below it, there are three identical buttons in a row with a caption under the icon. “Share” opens the “Share” system window with the address of the building, and where there is none, copies the address — the “address is copied”. “Yandex Maps” opens a route to the building by public transport from where you are now; where the Yandex Maps application is installed, the link opens in it. “Nearby” (at the buildings of the main campus) shows a diagram of the area around the building. If a place doesn't have a point on the map or the route in the app is disabled, “Yandex Maps” becomes a prominent button instead of “Here”. What the button does is indicated by the label when hovering over it, and on the phone by a long press. The search bar above the map — “Where can I get to?”.
• Institutions. Which institutes are in the building — abbreviation and name, former abbreviations in parentheses — and in which classrooms are their directorates.
• Address. If the sources name different addresses, it is written under the main one “According to other data: .”... Where the address is still being checked, the “address is being specified.”
• How to get from the subway. One line for each metro station, from which they go to the building site: the name of the station and “About ... minutes on foot to КПП .”... Click on the line to see a walking route from the station to the building in Yandex Maps, along with the current travel time.
• By floors. Click on a floor to see what's on it: locations, institute directorates, and entrances to passageways. The floors are known by the room numbers in the schedule, so only those that are known about are shown. The link to the card can lead directly to the audience — this is how it opens To “Show the building on the map” in the audience sheet: then its floor is already open, and the first line on it is the “Room ... — here (by number)”.
• Transitions. One line for each building that can be accessed, with transition floors. Click on the line to see how to get there and back. “Unchecked” means that the sources of the transition differ or there is only one source; “Why?” explains what's going on. If there are no crosswalks, it says so: There are “no crosswalks — only across the street”.

If the floors and passageways have not loaded, the card will show the rest and tell you about it; without a network, they will load when the network appears.

How to read the audience number

The number is read from right to left: the last two digits are the room itself, the third digit from the end is the floor, the remaining digits at the beginning are the building number ГУК. Zero in place of the floor is the basement. This is how most of the audiences are recorded in the schedule, but not all:

If the room does not fit any rule, click on it in the class card: the audience sheet will show the building, floor and address, if they are in the directory.

The app reads the number for you and writes it in one line — for example, “1224: ГУК-1, floor 2, room 24”. The line is in the audience sheet (line “How to read the number”), in the lesson window and in the search results on the map. For Н506, she will say that "Н" means ГУК-4, for 3416-2 or 1308a, that the ending “-2” or “a” marks part of the audience, and for a three—digit number, that it is usually РОАТ and where this rule comes from. If the building or floor is not in the directory, the line will briefly indicate this. If the number is written in words, such as a “Webinar”, there is no line: there is nothing to read.

Where is everything located

Где в кампусе МФЦ, библиотека, музей, приёмная комиссия, дирекция института или столовая, показывает карта. Введите в поиск на карте название места, институт или номер аудитории — откроется карточка корпуса на нужном этаже, а «Сюда» построит путь до него, где на карте есть эта кнопка. Buildings and institutes in 2026

The names of the institutes have changed, and the old documents and chat rooms still contain the old ones. The current ones are here, and the former ones are in parentheses.:

• ИЖТ (former ИУЦТ and ИТТСУ) — ГУК-1, ГУК-2 and ГУК-4;
• ИЭФ — ГУК-3;
• ЮИ — ГУК-6;
• VISH, ПИШ and АБП — ГУК-8;
• IMTK and АГА — ГУК-12 and adjacent buildings;
• ИСТИ (former ИПСС) — studies at РОАТ, and not at the main territory.

ГУК-7 is being demolished. The buildings of individual sites — РОАТ, Lyublino, colleges, dormitories — are not on the main territory, each has its own address.

Transitions between buildings

Many buildings are connected by walkways: you can walk between some floors without going outside. Which floor the entrance to the passage is on and where it goes depends on the pair of buildings, and this has not yet been confirmed for some of the passages, so there is no transition table here. Where there is a “Map” in the menu, the transitions of the building with a note, which of them are not checked, shows its card on the map.

КПП and skip

They are allowed into the territory at КПП. They need a student ID and an electronic pass, which is issued at МФЦ. While there is no pass, first-year students show their passport and a screenshot of the enrollment status.

How to get from the metro

The campus is within walking distance from several metro stations. Where there is a “Map” in the menu, the “How to get from the metro” section in the building card lists the stations, how far to go from each to КПП, and opens a walking route from the station in Yandex Maps. The “How to get” there section on the map also shows stations MCC, MCD and commuter trains, the way from the exit and the distance to КПП or the entrance. The address of the building is also in the audience list, and the “Route button in Yandex Maps” also plots the way to it from where you are now; check the current traffic.

Где поесть, библиотека, МФЦ и музей

There are canteens, cafes and cafeterias in several buildings on the territory. The fundamental library, the reading room and the educational library are located in different buildings. МФЦ (“one window”) gives you a pass and information, Museum RUT (MIIT) is open to everyone. Shops, cafes, pharmacies, copy centers, and ATMs around the site are listed in the “Nearby” section on the map; printing machines inside the buildings are listed in the section below.

Where to print and make a copy

There are machines for copying and printing in the buildings — in the common halls and corridors, they can be used by any student.:

The list is updated along with the map data. The hours and offices change more often than we double—check the sources: the building's card on the map will mark the place if its website was updated after that date (the “site was updated ... - the information may have changed”), and before the trip it is worth opening the link. Support and services

Where there is a support section in the application, Support and Services bring together the university's services on one page: a polyclinic, a psychological service, МФЦ, an International Cooperation Department, a youth center, a student council and a library. Each service has a building, floor, and room with access to a map, opening hours, official contacts (phone, mail, website page), and “how to contact” them: in person, by phone, by mail, by message, or by appointment. For the polyclinic, there is the same place for whom admission is free by ОМС and where sick leave and certificates are issued, and for the psychological service — that the registration form is on the service page. Under each service — where the information comes from and on what date, with a link to the source. The polyclinic registry and the psychological service have the same phone number: the app warns you about this, and you need to name which service you need on the phone. The texts are available in Russian, English and Chinese. The app only shows you where and how to apply.: it does not ask or store anything about your health and condition.

What's in the app

• Audience list. Click on the audience number in the class card, in the weekly schedule, in the list of available classrooms, on the floor plan, on the audience line in the “Audiences” tab of the “Workload” page, or on the audience in the “Audience” directory: in the building, floor, Directions, address and “Route in Yandex Maps” — the path to the building from the place where You are now. What else is not in the directory, it has not “yet been signed”. If the audience is on the map, there are two more lines under “How to go”.: “How to get” there opens the route on campus to her from the classroom of your previous couple (where there is a “Route” button on the map), and “Show the building on the map” — the card of her building, immediately on her floor.
• AI assistant. Where information about the campus is included in the installation, the assistant answers questions about it: where is the building, what is its address, what institutions are in it, opening hours; about the room, he names the building and tells how to get through. He will also tell you how to get from the nearest station and where to eat near the building, and when asked “how to get” there, he will show you the route around the campus with a card with a diagram and steps, which opens it on the map (for more information, see the assistant's page). If there is no information, he says so.
